Campus Crusade for Christ is right now working to expand a unique strategy that provides life-giving water, offered along with the message of the One who quenches spiritual thirst. This “Living Water” strategy is a life-saving effort that involves the distribution of thousands of personal filtration systems.
These filtration systems are, in a sense, extremely high-tech straws. Men, women, and children can take these anywhere and can drink freely from even the most contaminated water. Water that would have been deadly becomes life-giving. And as these gifts are offered alongside the Gospel of Jesus Christ, this strategy is truly about Living Water.
We are receiving requests for these personal filtration systems from Campus Crusade staff members all over the world, including nations like Zimbabwe, Haiti, and Iraq. Amazingly, just one straw will ensure that one person has enough safe, clean water for an entire year! And including all shipping and distribution costs, they cost just $20—about five cents a day to offer life-giving water for a year to a man, woman, or child.
Your gift of $40 would ensure that two people have clean water for a year, and point them to the One who can quench their eternal thirst. $120 would reach six people; $480 would aid 24. You can also choose “Other” in the “Give Now” menu above to enter another amount. Any gift would do so much to offer life-giving water to men, women, and children in desperate need.
